The Schaumburg Professional Firefighters Benevolent Association puts on charity events throughout the year to raise money for several wonderful causes. Below are a few of the events that we annually put together to help raise funds and awareness.
The goal of the Schaumburg Firefighters Association is to help people. In 2012, the Schaumburg Fire Fighters Association decided to take on one of the world’s largest epidemics that affects both men and women of all ages. The Pink Tie Ball is a fundraising event for cancer research and support.

The goal of the Schaumburg Firefighters Association is to help people. In 2012, the Schaumburg Fire Fighters Association decided to take on one of the world’s largest epidemics that affects both men and women of all ages. The Pink Tie Ball is a fundraising event for cancer research and support.
The evening begins with cocktails and hors d'oeuvres in the Hotel’s atrium. Soon thereafter, guests are welcome to enjoy the elegant meal. The meal will be accompanied by a short tribute video created to honor the men and women who have fought so bravely against cancer. Throughout dinner, guests will also have to opportunity to be truly inspired by the testimonies of some of our honored guest speakers/survivors and philanthropists.
Each year, members of IAFF Local 4092, host a one day Charity Softball Event. This event raises approximately $40,000 for several local charities. This impressive achievement is only made possible through the many contributions from businesses, individuals, and 33 other Locals that take part in the event.

Each year, members of IAFF Local 4092, host a one day Charity Softball Event. This event raises approximately $40,000 for several local charities. This impressive achievement is only made possible through the many contributions from businesses, individuals, and 33 other Locals that take part in the event.
All money raised in donated in its entirety to charity. The two primary beneficiaries include the Ronald McDonald House and the Schaumburg Township Food Pantry. The Schaumburg Township receives $5,000 just in time for the holiday’s, as well as, another $5,000 is spent by members of the 4092 to sponsor 12 families in the Christmas gift giving program.
IAFF Local 4092 is dedicated to supporting education and research for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. With the help and support of the IAFF's "Fill the Boot"efforts we have a chance to help our communities.
Members of 4092 host a family picnic for for Special Olympics every June.
Annually, $5000 raised from the Softball tournament is spent by members of the 4092 to sponsor 12 families in the Christmas gift giving program.
